Art (Adults & Kids)

Art is a field that is often ignored by parents.

It is a field that develops a child’s curiosity and creativity that can be translated to other subjects such as in science and maths.

I have loved art since I was young and like many, it can remain dormant for the most part of their lives. The same happened to me about 10 years ago when I decided to do a ‘paint by numbers’ coloring kit. I was so inspired by this painting, it propelled me to do more and sure enough, I worked with all types of mediums and produced many artworks of different genres.

Recently, I had to do digital drawing and there was so much to learn but I kept going.

1. Introduction to Art (one to one)

I will go through the pencil/colored pencil mediums to introduce you to art. Show you the basic strokes and develop important techniques to help you with blending, contrast, shading etc. Alternatively, you can decide on the medium of your choice and I will be able to customize the tuition to your skill level and interests.

2. Introduction to digital drawing (tablet or phone)

You will learn how to draw with your fingers or a stylus using the Paintology Drawing App. The app is perfect for improving all your artistic endeavors and creating stunning works of art.

3. Acrylic Painting

Salsa Dancing

Salsa dancing is a great activity for both men and women. It is one of the most popular social dancing styles in the world.

There are very good reasons for this.

1. Salsa dancing male or female (one person)
You will learn the basic moves of salsa, such as the open and closed position and the steps of the 1-8 beats.
Apart from these, you will learn the dynamics of what a leader needs to do in order to execute the dance moves with followers
The levels will vary by your experience levels and each class will be adjusted to that.

2. Salsa dancing for couples

Couples dancing is what salsa is all about and it is important that you can master not only the steps, but how to lead and follow.

In this class, both you and your partner will learn the positions for closed and open dancing, do a perfect cross body lead, turns and much more.
